The Kenya Indexing Project - - an online database resource for Kenyan newspapers
"As of Fri Jun 30 2017, the database incorporates 26623 indexed articles from 1986 to 2002..."

Support from the following organizations and individuals is very much appreciated:

The Kenya Indexing Project has been possible through funding received from the Ford Foundation. The International Development Research Centre gave short-term funding for the initial indexing of legal articles.

Fleur and Hilary Ngweno generously gave their back issues of the Nairobi newspapers covering the period 1989-2000. Jolene Wood and her parents are kindly giving the project their current issues.

Encouraging advice and assistance have been received from Linda Jarmy, Cataloging Publications Services, US Library of Congress, Washington DC.

The index would not be a reality without the energies and keen interest of the past and present members of the Indexing Project staff, including the information technology consultants: Ann Asugah, Bridget Cherono, Aggrey Elegwa, Hellen Gichuhi, Ashok Hariharan, Clare Hardy, Peter Kaluma, Priscilla Kanyua, Peter Kimacia, Anne Malenya, Abigail Masasabi, Winnie Mathangani, Patrick Mbugua, Lucy Mwangi, Moses Mwangi, Wanja Mwangi, Amondi Nyongo, Christine Odera, Dorothy Okeyo, Ugo Okoh, Janet Ouma, Jasdeep Sura, Tibaga Talitwala-Gacheru, Ruth Thomas, Wamuyu Wamunyu, Gilbert Watima.
